Find the box that matches where the customer is, fill in the {curly braces} and send it from your business number. After a quote the order never changes. Send it the same day, then day 2, then day 7 if you'll be nearby, then a seasonal text at 30 to 60 days, then one last message that closes the file.

Text only people who gave you their number, and honor a STOP the minute it arrives.
Phone Intake, Before You Give a Price
squidskc quotes most residential work by phone and has the formal quote out before the call ends, in "5 minutes or less" (Apr 2019). The script below starts with the address so you can pull up the map as you talk.
Thanks for calling {business}, this is {your name}. I can usually get you a price before we hang up. Mind if I ask a few quick questions?
1. What's the address? I'll pull it up on the map while we talk.
2. What would you like cleaned? House, driveway, walkways, patio, roof, deck, fence, gutters?
3. How many stories, and what's the siding? Vinyl, brick, stucco, wood?
4. What's bugging you most? Green on the north side, black streaks on the gutters, rust or oil stains?
5. Anything I should know before we wash? Peeling paint, foggy windows, plants you're careful with, pets?
6. Is there an outdoor spigot that works?
7. Is there a date you need it done by? A party, listing the house, an HOA letter?
Great. I'll text you a quote with a couple of options in the next few minutes. The price is based on what we just went over. If anything's different when we get there, I'll tell you before we start. Is this the best number to text?The last paragraph carries the weight, since it lets you correct the number at the door without a fight. Wording for the quote itself is on the remote estimates page.
Pressure Washing Follow Up Text After the Quote
Send the first one the same day with options, so the customer is choosing between jobs and not deciding whether to hire anybody at all.
Hi {first name}, it's {your name} with {business}. Here's your quote for {address}: {quote link}
Option A - House wash: ${A}
Option B - House wash + driveway: ${B}
Option C - House, driveway + gutter brightening: ${C}
Tap the link to pick one and grab a date. I have {day} and {day} open. Any questions, just text me back.Hi {first name}, {your name} from {business}. Just making sure the quote came through OK. Happy to answer questions or tweak the options. If you want on the schedule, {day} or {day} are open.The day 7 text works because it's true, so skip it in any week you won't be near their street.
Hi {first name}, we're washing a house on {street} this {day}. Since we'll be right around the corner, I can do yours the same day if you'd like. Want me to hold the spot? Your quote: {quote link}Hi {first name}, {your name} with {business}. Checking back on your quote for {address}. {Spring} dates are filling up. If you still want it done before {holiday or event}, reply YES and I'll send open days. Your price is good until {date}.Hi {first name}, I haven't heard back, so I'll close out your quote for now. No problem at all. If you want it cleaned down the road, reply to this text and I'll pull it back up. Thanks for considering {business}!That's the whole sequence, and nothing goes out after the last text. The follow-up cadence page covers the timing and the fear of sounding pushy.
When They Say It Costs Too Much
This reply never cuts the price on the same work. It shrinks the job instead, then restates what the price includes. Dallsheep would rather "have a 50-60 percent close rate at my prices vs a 80ish percent close rate with lower ones" (Sep 2023), and the price shoppers page covers options in place of discounts.
I get it, {first name}, it's a real expense. I can't do the same work for less, but I can change the work. Option A ({house wash only}) is ${A}. Or we can do {the front and sides} now and {the back} on the next visit. Either way you get {the same insured crew, a soft wash that's safe for your siding, and before and after photos}. Want me to send the smaller option?When You Miss the Call
squidskc's advice for answering calls around a day job was "Set up EVERYTHING on autoresponder and have a professional voicemail recorded" (Feb 2018), and this text is that autoresponder, asking for the address and the job so their reply starts the quote. Setup options are on the missed calls page.
Hi, this is {your name} with {business}. Sorry I missed your call, I'm on a job right now. Text me your address and what you'd like cleaned and I'll send you a price, usually within {X} hours. Or get a quote here: {quote link}Asking for the Review
Send this once the payment clears, while the customer is still looking at the clean house. JAtkinson's advice in Nov 2021 was "Push for reviews and referrals, it will definitely help you after a couple of years."
Thanks again, {first name}! Hope you're enjoying the clean {house}. If you were happy with the job, a quick Google review helps a small business like mine more than you'd think: {review link}. It takes about a minute. Thank you!Rebooking Last Year's Customers
The 11-month text goes out one customer at a time, a month before the anniversary of the wash. January's goes to everyone who ever paid you, which is why it carries the STOP line. Building that list is covered on the rebooking page.
Hi {first name}, {your name} with {business}. It's been almost a year since we washed your {house} on {street}. Want me to put you back on the schedule for {month}? Reply YES and I'll send a couple of dates and your price.Hi {first name}, it's {your name} with {business}. We're booking spring house washes now. Book by {date} and you get first pick of dates{, plus {perk}}. Reply SPRING and I'll send your price and open days. (Reply STOP to opt out.)Pasting by Hand, or Letting Software Send Them
Pasting from a file works while a handful of quotes go out each week, but in the busy weeks day 2 is the text that slips. QuoteIQ's automated estimate follow-ups start on Pro at $199.99/mo, and Jobber's equivalent, the Connect plan, is $139/mo, both as listed on their pricing pages in October 2026.
Questions Owners Ask
What should a pressure washing follow up text say?
Who you are, which quote you mean, and one question they can answer in a few words, like which date works. A text that only asks if they've decided gives them nothing to say yes to.
How many follow-up texts is too many?
Five after a quote is where the pack stops, ending with the message that closes the file. After that, take them off the active list and keep the contact for rebooking.
Can I text past customers about booking again?
Yes, if they gave you their number. Keep the January text to people who have hired you, leave the STOP line on and remove anyone who uses it. That's practical advice, not legal advice, so check the texting rules where you work.
