Jobber vs Housecall Pro for Pressure Washing

Neither was built for pressure washing and neither measures from the satellite view. What separates them is which plan carries the features you'd use, with follow-ups on Jobber and booking and reviews on Housecall Pro.

Verdict

If your quotes go quiet after the estimate is sent, choose Jobber. Automatic quote follow-ups are listed on Connect, $139/mo ($99 billed annually) for 1 user, whereas Housecall Pro's follow-up tool ("Pipeline") isn't listed by plan.

If calls get missed while you're on a roof and your reviews are thin, Housecall Pro Basic, $79/mo ($59 annual), lists 24/7 online booking and review management. Jobber Core has online booking too, but reviews need a paid add-on.

The cheapest solo seat is Jobber Core at $29/mo billed annually, and neither tool measures from the satellite view.

We have affiliate links for Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ, so we earn whichever you pick. Each price below comes from the vendor's own pricing page, linked in the sources. The pages we found for this comparison were vendor pages or generic comparisons from other trades, and the one pressure washing page is a vendor's, with a price list that mixes the two companies' tiers without labels. So we sorted it by the work you do. That means house washes and driveways first, then roofs, whether you run one truck or two. The prices come from the vendors' pricing pages as read in October 2026 and the opinions from owners on trade forums, since we haven't run either tool ourselves.

What Each Costs by Team Size

Prices below are per month. Jobber lists three per plan (month to month, with a 1-year commitment, and billed annually) and Housecall Pro lists two (monthly and annual).

Prices per month as listed on Jobber's and Housecall Pro's pricing pages, October 2026. Jobber lists extra users at $29/mo; we added them at $29 on every billing option, so confirm on Jobber's page that your plan takes added users. Housecall Pro lists a $35/mo extra user for Max only and shows no extra-user price for Basic or Essentials.

Run it for one person over a year. Jobber Core comes to $348 billed annually and $588 month to month, while Housecall Pro Basic comes to $708 on annual billing and $948 month to month. Add people and the gap closes. At five users the two land within $10 of each other monthly and match at $149 on annual billing. Housecall Pro also showed an intro promo of $26 for the first month on Basic or Essentials.

Jobber's prices moved this summer. The third-party tracker CostBench logged the monthly, no-commitment Core price rising from $39 to $49 in July 2026, and Connect from $119 to $139. That is CostBench's record and not a Jobber announcement, but Jobber's page now shows $49 and $139.

When Quotes Go Silent

"how long should I wait? I don't want to come off as overbearing"

OhioFloMo, PressureWashingResource forum, Jul 2024

That hesitation sits behind a lot of bids that die in silence, since a second text feels pushy. Jobber is clear about where automation starts. It's Connect, which also sends automated client reminders. Housecall Pro has a follow-up tool as well, but its pricing page never says which plan holds it, so put that question to them during the trial before you build a routine around it. The cadence and wording that work are in following up without being pushy.

Online Booking and Reviews

Both put online booking on the entry plan, which matters when you're on a roof and the phone rings. Housecall Pro's own homeowner survey says 80% of homeowners factor online booking into their choice, though that is a vendor survey and deserves to be read as one. Reviews are where the two split, since they come with Basic on Housecall Pro and cost extra on Jobber as a separate Reviews add-on with no listed price. More on catching those leads in missed calls and speed to lead.

Measuring From the Satellite View

Neither tool measures a roof, house or driveway from the satellite view, so with either one you measure in Google Maps by hand and type the square footage in. If driving out to bid is what's costing you, the fix is a third option. QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro draws area and perimeter on the satellite map inside the estimate, starting on its Beginner plan at $99.99/mo for 2 users (see QuoteIQ's plans). The head-to-head is QuoteIQ vs Jobber, and the method is quoting without driving out.

Trials

Both give you 14 days with no credit card. Jobber's trial runs on Grow, a plan from $199/mo. Check that what you liked is on the plan you'll pay for, because follow-ups need Connect, not Core.

What Owners Say

The praise below comes from a 2017 PressureWashingResource thread on which CRM everyone uses.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed jobber, worth every penny."

Carl_Nesseler, PressureWashingResource forum, Apr 2017

"Great customer service, easy to use, and it makes every thing look very clean and professional."

Clean1, on Jobber, PressureWashingResource forum, Apr 2017

"it works well for me as far as invoicing, estimates, emailing, and crm."

Omar, on Housecall Pro, PressureWashingResource forum, Mar 2017

Recent complaints are mostly about cost. One r/pressurewashing poster wrote they were not busy enough to use an app like Jobber yet (undated snapshot), and the July 2026 increases above won't help that. On the Housecall Pro side, Capterra reviewers from other trades say the pricing can feel high for smaller businesses (Sep 2026) and that Most 'features' are an additional cost (Aug 2026). Another reviewer says their team averages 20 hours a WEEK with support and is getting nowhere.

Which One to Choose

Choose by the one leak you'd close first, then check that the plan holding the fix is one you would pay for.

Choose Jobber If

  • You're solo and want the cheapest seat, which is Core at $29/mo billed annually.
  • Quotes go silent and you want follow-ups on a plan you can name, which is Connect at $99/mo annual.
  • Reviews already come in without help, so a built-in review tool would sit unused.

Choose Housecall Pro If

  • You want online booking and review management on the first plan, $59/mo annual.
  • A 5-person crew that wants job photo markup lands on Essentials at $149/mo annual.
  • Reviews are how you plan to get out of the race to the bottom.

Owners who care more about measuring from the satellite view than about either of these should read QuoteIQ vs Housecall Pro, or start from the problem you have.

Questions Owners Ask

Is Jobber or Housecall Pro cheaper for a one-truck pressure washing business?

Jobber Core is $49/mo month to month and $29/mo billed annually, against $79/mo and $59/mo annual for Housecall Pro Basic. Basic includes review management, which Jobber sells as an add-on, so price the one you would use.

Can Jobber or Housecall Pro measure a house from satellite?

Not built in. Jobber's Deep Lawn integration is for lawns, and we found no satellite measuring on Housecall Pro's pricing page. You'd measure in Google Maps by hand. QuoteIQ's MapMeasure Pro does it inside the estimate from $99.99/mo.

Which one sends automatic quote follow-ups?

Jobber lists "Automate quote and invoice follow-ups" on Connect ($139/mo, $99 billed annually). Housecall Pro lists a "Pipeline" tool without naming the plan that includes it.

Can I try both without a credit card?

Yes. Both list 14-day trials with no card. Jobber's trial runs on its Grow plan, so features you test may not be on Core or Connect.
